Reading Notes: Brook. Mahabharata (film) Part B

Favorite Characters From This Section:
-Draupadi: I really liked how she stood up for herself, and put together a logical argument about her situation. I believe that she was not rightfully won.

Least Favorite Characters From This Section:
-Bhishma: I understand that he could not stand in the way of fate, but I feel like he should have done something!! Betting his brothers and their wife didn't sit well with me.
-Shakuni: I not sure how, but I do not think he played the game fairly. I do not think dishonest people should be given much power, and after winning everything from Yudhishthira, he had a lot of power.
-Yudhishthira: I was not a fan of how he gave into the temptation to gamble and to me using people and possessions that were not his to gamble was unfair.

Themes and Elements that I liked
-I liked the setting of the dice scene and the element of "winning" prizes or making bets.
-I also liked how 'fate' played a large part in this, and how everything went as it should.

My story this week:
-I would like to do a play on the dice scene and maybe make it to where each of the Pandava brothers each get a turn rolling the dice. I think there should be a little bit more back and forth with Shakuni. I would also make it more super hero themed, but ultimately I think the bad guys should win this round and set the scene for a miraculous comeback from the Pandavas!

I thought this was a cool picture from my favorite scene of this section Link to original image
