Famous Last Words: Ending the Semester Strong

This week I struggled with keeping things on task. I often prioritize things that are immediate but not important, rather than things that are most important but not immediate. For example, yes it is super important that I get things all packed up for my quickly approaching departure from the university, but just because packing up glass cups and sorting through my messy room are on my to-do list, should not mean that they outrank getting the GPA that I want for the semester. The packing needs to be saved for later.

Each morning I make a to-do list, but I never seem to rank them. I think that adding in this element of figuring out what things are the MOST important, could really help resolve this issue. While looking around for the right image to include on this post, I stumbled upon this gold! This chart really embodies everything I was feeling.

For this upcoming week, I really hope to use this new tool to start maximizing my efficiency and getting more important things done and setting aside the tasks that can wait. This will be a great skill that I can carry with me for the rest of my life.
