-Male/female confusion (Bishma Falls)
-Descriptive words (i.e. "Swords were splintered" in Ghatotkacha)
-Symbolic elephant (Death of Drona)
-The workings of the afterlife (The Pandavas Depart)

Themes that I liked:
-Men not wanting to fight females (a cool story could be about a woman pretending to be a male so that she could enter a battle competition)
