Week 11 Story Planning: Abhimanyu

This week I wanted to write a story about Abhumanyu and his upbringing. But before I could write a story about his life, I needed to gather some research.

Who he was: 
-The son of Arjuna and Subhadra. He was married to Uttara -who was the princess of the Matsya Kingdom.
-Abhimanyu's son, Parikshit became the heir to the Pandava empire and took the throne after Yudhishthira
-He was also the reincarnation of the moon god's son.
-The moon god, Chandra, said he would only allow this to happen if he retuned to him in 16 years.

What he was known for: 
-Knowing how to break the discus formation of the Kaurava army.
-killing many prominent people while in the formation
-then ultimately being killed by Karna and many other men

When his parents meet:
-Arjuna kidnaps Subhadra while he is on his individual pilgrimage during their time of exile.

Childhood:
-Spent most of his childhood in Dwaraka with his wife and Lord Krishna. He was trained by the son of Lord Krishna, Pradyumna. And was basically brought up by his mother and Lord Krishna since his father was still in exile.


Now that I have been able to fill in some gaps of who he is, I look forward to writing a story about him next week!
