My favorite place
As I reflect back on my time here at OU, my favorite place has been my college house. This house has been more than just a home. It has been a safe haven when things got tough at school, at work, and in life. These friends have proven to be more than just close friends, but family. The opportunity to have a place that was a beacon of safety, warmth, and personal growth is something that not many people have. I am forever grateful for the house that built me.

Madeline, I loved reading about your favorite place, who would have thought it would be so close to home. I also have lived in a house in Norman for the past two years and have to say it is one of the greatest places I have ever been. I never imagined being able to call another place my home other than my house that my family lives in in Houston, but I can say when I am away I find myself referring to my college house in Norman as my home.
